It’s all about creative capital

Marketing is an all important facet of your start-up. Good marketing means success, bad marketing in all facets of business could mean failure, writes Dorri Kordahi. A lot of people think of marketing as a separate part of a company. Well, it is not. And that is the first place people go wrong. Everyone and everything markets your company; from the way people answer the ‘phones, to how you deliver on your assurances and even the way the bathroom looks when a visitor uses it. That is all passive marketing. I think that a lot of start-ups fail because they think marketing has to cost thousands and thousands of dollars, so instead of finding a creative, low-cost option, they just do nothing. Read more
